“Hold On,” what is that you just said? A Wilson Phillips reality television show? Shut the front door! The trio is back with ‘Still Holding On’ on TV Guide premiered April 8, 2012! And we got the details!

Wendy Wilson, Carnie Wilson, and Chynna Phillips are going to take us behind the scenes into their lives, twenty years since they first hit the pop scene with “Hold On”, launching them into worldwide fame.

Not all of what you will see will be pretty,’ Phillips said, ‘We don’t, like, make out on camera or anything.’

The show follows them on their journey of reuniting to go back on tour, including a new album of cover songs originally stemming from their famous parents – Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, and John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas & the Papas.

Of course it wouldn’t be reality TV unless there were some tense moments – cue the famous weight loss struggle of Wilson. She explains that it was a tough decision to include the explicit details of her second weight-loss surgery, but it was very important to the band to stay as real as possible.

“It’s what I’m going through. It’s what a lot of people need to see because they’ve trusted me to be open with them. It’s like a responsibility for me,” Wilson told TV Guide.

Her sister Wendy Wilson, on the other hand, was a little hesitant to jump on the reality train, ‘I was curious, but I was also very scared. You see reality shows and they get very raunchy and distasteful.’

This show definitely illustrates promise on the reality side, but can we guarantee “You’re in Love” with it after the first episode?
