Shooting at Stillwater, Oklahoma Middle School Leaves One Dead
A shooting has occurred at Stillwater Junior High School at 7:50 am today and it has left one person dead. The junior high students were transferred to a near by shopping plaza where parents were to pick up their children.
According to eyewitness accounts they say the victim was an 8th grade student that took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot, which has been confirmed by officials. According to students that were interviewed, they say the shooting happened in an area known as “the pit” outside of the junior high school. All classes at the Junior high schools have been canceled for today, but all other Stillwater Schools will remain in session today.
According to News9.com the Stillwater Police held a news conference and released the name if this mornings shooting victim as 13 year old Cade Poulos. Police confirm the Poulos took his own life inside the school at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday morning, just as classes were to begin.
