When it comes to Girl Scouts and cookies, it's all about teaching girls about management, money handling and sales. One Girl Scout has made selling cookies a very serious business.

Katie Francis, a middle school student in Oklahoma City set the record of most cookie sales in 2013. Now she has smashed the national record of all time in Girl Scout cookie history, which was 18,000 boxes, previously held by Elizabeth Brinton in the 1980s.

As of now Francis has sold 18,107 of the famous cookies and she will continue to sell until the season is over.

Her goal is 20,000 boxes for this year and 100,000 boxes during her career as a Girl Scout.

Cookie selling is a lot of fun and I really enjoy doing it," Francis told USA TODAY Network. "I felt really happy that I could do anything because I accomplished such a huge goal."

With such commitment, it looks like Francis will have an excellent career as a saleswoman or business executive.
