It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor. Hearing that song coming from the television let us know that the friendliest neighbor of them all was about to be on.

No matter what we were doing, we stopped to dive into being a part of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. He was always sandwiched between Sesame Street and The Electric Company.  Shows that not only entertained us, but educated us as well. We could forget about whatever was going on around us, boarding the town trolly daily, we got drawn into his world of make believe. Not knowing the whole time we were learning life's lessons.

Now ten years after the death of Fred Rogers, a film about his life and career is coming to the big screen. Who could fill his sweater?  That is the question posed by Alexis Jolly. She is writing the script for the screenplay. According to the producer, the title will be "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood."  This is based on Fred Rogers ability to find good in anyone or anything.

So who do you think should be in the lead role of Mr. Rogers?  Take our poll and let us know.
