KISS Founders To Open Restaurant in Oklahoma City

KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are planning on bringing their restaurant chain, Rock & Brews to Oklahoma City soon.

Slated to open in the fall near the Quail Springs Mall, Simmons gave some food descriptions that you would expect from the rock and roll legend.

"When you wrap your lips around one our Godzilla-sized burgers, and that's not easy to do, or one of our gluten-free pizzas or regular pizza, you're going to have a hard time going anywhere else," Simmons told The Oklahoman.

One of Simmons's favorite items on the restaurant's menu is a beignet called 'Purple Rain.'

"It's a crispy little pastry about the size of a snowball, covered in powdered sugar and drizzled with raspberry sauce, and when you bite into it and your mouth is filled with chocolate sauce, it’s a good as sex," Simmons said.

Regional franchise owner Kirk Williams stated that the restaurant will have something for everybody. A full bar that will serve domestic and international beers, a play area for kids and an outdoor patio area that will be dog-friendly.
