An American Salute

The Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra is proud to launch our 54th Season with An American Salute, dedicated to our local ROTC cadets and all of our military members. The concert will be held Saturday, August 29, at 8PM and will feature a rousing program of All-American music, including selections from Gershwin, John Williams' powerful arrangement of our National Anthem, and Samuel Barber's staggering Piano Concerto, performed by Houston-based virtuoso, Andrew Staupe. There will be a reception after the concert where heavy appetizers will be served and you can meet with our Maestro, guest artist, and orchestra musicians.
