The job market is tough as it is, and it might get tougher for some job seekers. It turns out employers are asking candidates to turn over their personal log in information to Facebook! Wait, what? That’s right; currently the Maryland Department of Corrections is in the middle of a debate with the ACLU, which alleges Maryland is violating employees’ right to privacy.

However, Maryland is getting away with it because they are calling it “shoulder surfing,” which means an employer is looking over your shoulder while you log in Facebook.

Now imagine, you are at a job interview, you have your resume, you have answered all of their questions, and just as you think all is going well, the interviewer asks you to log in to your Facebook account while he/she is looking over your shoulder. What will you do? Take our Survey and let us know!
