Nina Blackwood
There is no better way to present the sounds and the artists of the 80’s than with a host whose image and personality are as strong as the tunes are fun and memorable.
Nina helped set the musical tastes and trends that are being celebrated today and she continues to highlight the era that changed music forever!

Born and raised in Mobile, my family moved to Dallas where I have spent the majority of my life. I have missed the Gulf Coast over the years and go back every chance I get. I admit it freely, I am a water baby and am happiest being near the water.
I started out in radio in Dallas. After a few years, I found out how up and down this business can be. I dabbled in other career fields but nothing could compare to doing what I love to do most. I’ve spent the last year and half completing my Bachelors degree at the University of Texas at Arlington and was able to finally make my way back into radio

I love radio, but I love it because it keeps me connected to people. I've done almost every job in the business and now have the honor of working at My107.3 FM. I am married to a wonderful (now) retired MSgt in the Air Force. The Darin makes regular appearances on my show, but he usually refuses to talk, so I have to tell all his stories for him. Dillon is my stepson and his stories are also familiar to those that listen regularly. Dillon could be the next me

I've worked in radio since my senior year of high school (1981), and have worked as a musician since the mid 80's. Back on the radio in Texoma after 15 years of doing radio and playing music in Nashville. Who says you can't go home?

My husband David and I live on "The Mace Place" and raise cattle for show. We both enjoy the country life but just wish that once in awhile we could get pizza delivery! I have 2 horses that I adore. My husband, well, not so much! He thinks all they do is eat and poop! (He's right, you know.) We have no children unless you count our dogs Tooter and Rowdy. Oh my GOSH they keep us going. You'll hear a lot about them on my shift.

I am a retired sailor who became landlocked after I proudly served my country for 22 years. My retirement was granted to me in 2001. I am happily married to the love of my life, Lisa from Chicago, for the past 14 years. I have two grown daughters who live in Alabama (Summer) and Florida (Leah). I also have Molly & Kaleb at home with me. Love all kinds of music with the exception of rap. Love football and most of the time basketball.
