Fair food has become a contest of cholesterol in the last few years. The OK State Fair is throwing it's hat in the ring with two new selections: chocolate-covered corn dogs and deep fried, bacon-wrapped chicken on a stick.

June 20, 2011 I had the opportunity to be at the opening of the new exhibit at The Comanche National Museum and Cultural Center (CNMCC) today. Through the Eyes of the Eagle: Illustrating Healthy Living for Children. This is a fun, colorful exhibit that children of all ages will enjoy. It includes the original illlustrations from the 4 book series. The exhibit also includes a lovely garden and play ideas for the children.
Tourists watching the Old West show in Hill City, South Dakota last Friday got a real taste of the mayhem associated with that time period when live ammo began spraying into the crowd.
