I love radio, but I love it because it keeps me connected to people. I've done almost every job in the business and now I have the honor of working at this station! I am married to a wonderful (now) retired MSgt in the Air Force. The Darin makes regular appearances on my show, but he usually refuses to talk, so I have to tell all his stories for him. Dillon is my stepson and his stories are also familiar to those that listen regularly. Dillon could be the next me. He LOVES being on the radio. Most days, I work from home and do my show with a portable studio that was built for me since I am now semi-retired (at the ripe old age of 34). So, if you hear the dishwasher, the washing machine or the sounds of a 9 year old with his Lego, it's all good!

Why? We don't let him kill people in video games.

Don’t Forget That Flu Shot!

Are You Ready? It’s National Disaster Preparedness Month

This is national disaster preparedness month and there are some REAL threats that you and your family can talk about and plan for...
How To Fold a Fitted Sheet Without Cursing [VIDEO]
If you are like me, there is little time in the day to worry about making the fitted sheets pretty. My husband, though, is retired military. Every time he opens the cabinet where sheets live, he cringes at my attempts to fold the fitted sheet (or wad up into a ball to be more precise)...
