Right now, tons of people are chugging down as many pumpkin spice lattes as they can before Starbucks cruelly cuts them off. But are those the best seasonal food?

There was a discussion on Reddit.com recently about people's favorite seasonal foods. Not just in the fall, but anytime. And these were picked as the seven best ones, in no particular order.

                                    Reese's Peanut Butter Easter Eggs.

Lets face it, Easter, Christmas, Valentines day. it does not matter. Reeses are good any time. Does not have to be a holiday.

                                                        Eggnog.

There are some store that are already testing the water and putting my favorite drink on  the shelf!  Cheers!

                                                    Pumpkin pie.

This is my all time favorite pie. Some think it is only for the fall and Thanksgiving. I say nonsense.  All year long!

                                       McDonald's Shamrock Shakes.

Tried them and they were just OK, could not get past the green color though. Nancy on the other hand loves them.

                                                    Candy corn.

Love the harvest mix, some on my desk as I write this up. Probably will wind up eat several bags before Halloween is over with.

                                                    Apple cider.

Love it hot especially after being out on a crisp fall afternoon or early evening and looking at the fall foliage.  The drink can help you unwind as well.

                                            Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

Did enjoy the first one, and I did actually have another one a couple of weeks ago. All it did though was make me anxious for the real holiday coffee's to make their appearance on the screen.

So what is your favorite seasonal food?  Do you actually eat these foods any other time of the year?
